DShepherd Driving School – Terms & Conditions It is the responsibility of all students to ensure that they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions of DShepherd Driving School before commencing any lessons. 1. Booking & Payments •All lessons must be booked in advance. •Full payment or a deposit is required to confirm a booking. •Payments are non-refundable, but lessons may be rescheduled within the allowed time frame. •Lesson packages are valid for six (6) months from the date of purchase. Please ensure all lessons are completed within this period, as unused lessons will be forfeited thereafter. Should any unforeseen circumstances arise that may prevent completion within the six-month period, alternative arrangements must be discussed and agreed upon in advance. 2. Cancellations & Rescheduling •A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a lesson. •Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be forfeited. •DShepherd Driving School may reschedule lessons due to unforeseen circumstances such as bad weather, vehicle issues, or emergencies. 3. Learner’s License Requirement •A valid learner’s license is required for all practical driving lessons. •Students without a learner’s license may only book theory or pre-learner classes. 4. Student Responsibilities •Students must arrive on time; time lost due to late arrival will not be added to the lesson. •Students must follow all instructions during lessons to ensure safety. •Any damage caused intentionally or through reckless behaviour may result in penalties or termination of lessons. 5. Instructor & Vehicle •All lessons are conducted by qualified instructors. •Training vehicles are roadworthy and insured. •Instructors have the right to end a lesson if a student is unfit to drive (due to intoxication, illness, unsafe behaviour, etc.). 6. Test Bookings •Assistance with booking learner’s or driving tests will be provided when needed. •All test fees, booking fees, and traffic department charges remain the student’s responsibility. 7. Injury, Damage & Liability •Driving lessons take place on public roads and involve normal road-related risks. •DShepherd Driving School takes all reasonable steps to ensure safety; however, the school and its instructors are not liable for any injury, loss, damage, disability, or death arising during lessons. •Students participate in lessons at their own risk and must obey all safety instructions at all times. •The instructor’s vehicle is insured for road incidents, but the school is not responsible for personal medical expenses or consequences resulting from events outside the instructor’s control. •Students must inform DShepherd Driving School in writing of any medical condition or limitation that may affect their driving. 8. Refunds •No refunds on lessons or packages once purchased, except where required by law. •Refunds will not be issued for unused lessons due to student inactivity or repeated cancellations. 9. General •These Terms & Conditions may be updated at any time by DShepherd Driving School. •By booking with DShepherd Driving School, the student acknowledges and agrees to all terms stated above.
